This means building shelter or weapons to deal with the hostile tribe. You’ll have to make do with whatever the forest provides to survive. The game has an open-world environment to roam in alone or with friends. Players will receive a similar gameplay experience as from the past game installment. Of course, if you played The Forest, you know this island is also home to a mutated cannibalistic tribe. There must be a pretty great reward here, as in Sons of the Forest, players will be venturing into a desolate island in search of a billionaire. Currently, we know that the game is tied to the franchise’s past installments, but it will bring out an entirely new cast of characters. Players will be agents stationed in a rural community, using their skills and weaponry to fend off any hostile attacks that might pop up in Silver Creek. However, this time, we know Tom Clancy’s The Division: Heartland will be a free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter. Players are still acting as agents trying to keep American citizens safe. It’s a game very similar to the previous installments. DokeV is coming to PC and consoles, but probably not anytime soon. Even if it looks a little too chaotic, I’m fascinated. I’ve always managed to watch Pearl Abyss games from a distance.
“Flying through the sky, moving very fast, or pretending to be Superman… We worked very hard to create those experiences we imagined in the gameplay.” Dodge-rolling action aside, the traversal is easily the highlight. “You know those dreams you have when you’re young, where you feel like you’re flying?,” said game designer Changkee Nam. Similarly, lead producer Sangyoung Kim mentioned that “Wanting to create a game I could play together with my kid is what motivated the creation of DokeV.” In a follow-up overview video with developer comments, executive producer Daeil Kim got to the heart of the game, which draws from Korean folklore ( Dokkaebi) and also a bit of Ghostbusters: “We wanted to create a game the whole family can enjoy together.” It was going to be, at one point, but Pearl Abyss “ decided to move the game in a different direction and it’s now a creature-collecting open world action-adventure.”

I initially let it slip through the cracks of Opening Night Live, but I knew I’d want to circle back. One of the zaniest Gamescom 2021 moments was the re-reveal of DokeV, an “all ages” action-adventure game with a bonkers world of creatures to befriend and very pretty graphics.
